10/06/2022 Oh what a lovely surprise...

Following on from the 'storm' that Noah whistled up yesterday... We were being fairly battered by the winds, a high force 6 at least. We regretted not fitting the windscreen wiper, Harry who was sent out on deck to wipe the windows regretted it anyway.

We arrived in Greenock at about 17:30 and the wind had totally dropped off to nothing which relieved Noah who was parking us. Harry simply asked John Bourke (a friend many of your will know) when we will be seeing him - the next thing we know is we have been invited for supper and three nights! Delicious crab ravioli followed by salmon, mashed potato and vegetables. A small amount of wine and whisky may have accompanied.

We all slept exceptionally well and now we are relaxing at the Bourke's whilst they work from home. Wilson has fallen asleep with the dog at his feet whilst reading a book and Harry has just been robbed by HMRC and is feeling sorry for himself.

Today we lose Noah and Binnie who are returning to Aldeburgh which is a great shame. Alan is staying with the Bourke's for a few days and Harry and Wilson are staying one more night before returning to Maudorces. John Bourke is to join Harry and Wilson for the next leg to Largs on Sunday. Noah has returned to Aldeburgh for his fathers' birthday and is set to re-join the trip at Largs next Thursday.

I'm not sure there will be enough action to update until Sunday but you never know...

Harry
