03/06/2022 En route to inverness

After a fairly lumpy 10 hours the wind and the waves began to ease off and we could finally open up the throttles to our maximum cruising RPM. Harry made breakfast which was quite a challenge!! Harry and Noah took it in turns to do 1 hour watches through the day and progress remained steady despite the big waves and negative tide. Harry cooked a leftover chicken breast and split a baguette into three with lettuce for lunch, Noah requested bacon with his, of course.

Hurrah, the sun came out! Plodding along Harry did a watch from 3pm until 6pm whilst Noah got some decent shut eye, then Harry and Noah swapped. Noah cooked delicious duck breast, mashed potato and tenderstem broccoli with a red wine jus, absolutely delicious! Harry started watch at 21:00, gorgeous sunset in progress. Peaceful in the wheelhouse listening to BBC Radio 2. Noah showered and gone to bed and Peter has also retired - Harry already looking forward to waking up Noah at midnight haha!

Onwards!!!

Harry
